Khada Valley Livelihood Restoration Program
Alongside its support for the Kvesheti-Kobi road construction in Georgia’s mountainous region, the Asian Development Bank has launched a program to restore and enhance the livelihoods of people in the Khada Valley and neighboring villages.
New Kindergartens for Georgian Children
The Asian Development Bank supported the construction of 20 new kindergartens in Georgian towns and villages as part of its Livable Cities Investment Project to help improve early education and the quality of life.

ADB's Work in Georgia
The Government of Georgia has been expanding its network of free trade agreements and prioritizing steps to ensure macroeconomic stability, modernize infrastructure, and promote green and efficient regional connectivity. Other priorities include investing in renewable energy sources and fostering innovation and digital transformation. The government has also been involving the private sector in policy planning and formulation to promote private sector-led growth while pursuing greater social orientation and institutional and sector reforms.
To date, ADB has committed 95 public sector loans, grants, and technical assistance totaling $4 billion to Georgia.

Results achieved are aggregate amounts of outputs and outcomes from operations reported in project completion reports and extended annual review reports circulated for the year.
Cofinancing operations enable ADB’s financing partners, governments or their agencies, multilateral financing institutions, and commercial organizations to participate in financing ADB projects.

ADB has been supporting the Government of Georgia since 2007. Although Georgia is among ADB’s most recent members, ADB’s country portfolio has grown rapidly, with cumulative approvals exceeding $1.9 billion since then. ADB is one of Georgia’s largest multilateral financiers, assisting with the development of public infrastructure and services.
